Brothers takes home 5 prestigious awards

On March 27th, Brothers Leagues Club Townsville walked away with 5 of the 11 awards for which we were nominated.  Those awards were:

• Best Gaming Venue
• Special Achievement Award – Responsible Gambling
• Best Keno Operation
• Best Club North Queensland
• Club Secretary/Manager of the Year – Craig Thomas

The IGT Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence are prestigious industry awards, presented to Community Clubs who are recognised for their outstanding achievements through their everyday trading, community support and responsibility to their members.

It is with thanks to our members and of course, our staff.  It is these awards which can truly determine the efforts and level of responsibility each individual staff member puts forward to help achieve a common objective and that is to provide our members and guests with an exceptional experience every time they visit our club: one that will bring them back to us again.

Club Manager of the Year recipient and our General Manager of Brothers Leagues Club Townsville, Craig Thomas, was humbled by the level of recognition we received.

“These awards are very significant for our industry and it is an honour to have received them” he said.  Craig also stated that “to have been awarded the Special Achievement award for Responsible Gambling is a direct reflection of our attitude and conscientious approach towards the Gaming services our Club provides its members”.

We are proud to have won both Clubs QLD Best Club North Queensland and Best Gaming Venue.  Furthermore, Brothers Leagues Club Townsville take the laws of ‘Responsible Service of Gambling’ seriously and to have been awarded the Special Achievement for Responsible Gambling reiterates this.
