Brothers plays for a cure

March 31, 2013

Townsville Brothers players participated in a fun filled day at Townsville/Thuringowa Softball Association’s “Play for a Cure” in support of cancer research in Queensland. Playing under one of their sponsor’s names, Ashwell Plumbing, and dressed in their full training kit, Brothers had 9 former and current players try their hand at Softball. Other Rugby League representatives also participated, including Peter Worth, Townsville Referees Supervisor,  and Michael Inman, NRL Referee Development Officer.

While there was no ‘winner’ for the day, the Ashwell Plumbing Team did win Best Catch, and the award for “Most Distracting” team for the day…
